SHIPPING COSTS

For a limited time, MechMan.com is offering FREE UPS ground shipping to the continental 48 United States. Shipping alternators and accessories outside of these areas is handled by UPS or DHL only, and can be arranged at the buyers expense via e-mail or phone (please contact a sales associate for assistance). MechMan.com does not ship battery products internationally.

PACKAGING

All MechMan.com products are carefully hard-boxed and foam packaged to provide the best protection possible during shipping. Should any damage occur during shipping, all items are insured through the shipping carrier. It is the buyer's responsibility to immediately contact MechMan.com and notify us about any damages incurred during shipping so a claim can be filed with UPS.

REFUNDS

All MechMan.com alternator kits are built to order, hence no refunds are given. New and unused batteries and accessories can be shipped back to MechMan.com for a refund less a 20% restocking fee.

ALTERNATOR WARRANTY

MechMan.com alternator kits are guaranteed against manufacturer's defect for one full year from the date of purchase. Customers who wish to file a warranty claim should contact MechMan.com for an RMA number before sending the unit back for repair. The customer will cover shipping expenses back to the repair facility, and MechMan.com will pay shipping costs to return the repaired unit to the customer.

BATTERY WARRANTY

MechMan.com will warranty AGM batteries for one year from the date of purchase. XSPower batteries feature a 3 YEAR warranty through the manufacturer (Powermaster). All batteries must be sent back to MechMan.com for inspection before a replacement is sent to the customer. Any swollen, bulging, hissing, or exploded batteries are a result of overcharging and WILL NOT be covered under warranty. If you are unsure what the problem with the battery is, please contact the MechMan.com tech staff, and you will be instructed how to properly diagnose the problem.

REPAIR SERVICE

MechMan.com alternator kits that are more than one year old can be sent back for service at the customer's expense. While an exact repair cost cannot be quoted until the unit is disassembled, most ProPower alternators can be repaired for a fraction of the cost of a new unit. Please contact a sales associate for an RMA number before sending the unit in for repair.
