If you plan on upgrading your Mahindra Roxor as many owners do, the factory 70–80-amp alternator simply cannot keep up with the demands of heavy amperage draw components such as air conditioning, winches and of course even audio upgrades can and WILL affect their performance. The factory alternator is OK to power the vehicle, but you need more when adding more! With the OEM alternator, that doesn't leave much for all of your extras!
With the OEM alternator utilizing a vacuum pump, we didn't want to mess with any of that. It works and does the job. What we do is take one of our tried and true, high efficiency Denso 6phase hairpin-based alternators and use a precision CNC cut bracket. This ensures the alternator is mounted solidly with no flex and a heim joint / rod end style tension adjuster makes sure the belt can grip and make use of all the extra amperage.
With our alternator by itself, you can expect a huge increase in output at idle, around 150 amps! The maximum output while driving or cruising RPM's can achieve nearly 200 amps for the most demanding of components. Keep in mind, your OEM alternator is still suppling power as well! It's a win/win application especially if your older and tired OEM alternator decides to fail while on the trail!
INSTALLATION NOTES:--Will not work with Factory All weather models, This mounts in the factory A/C compressor location under the stock alternator.
--Comes with all Mounting Hardware & Belt. A dedicated 4-gauge Positive & Ground must be run directly from Alternator to the battery for maximum performance output (wire not supplied). --Comes with our P101 single wire to 12-volt key on/off source for simple, easy and standalone operation. -- Will work with both 2.5 and 2.7 engines, 2018 and up.

-- Internally regulated to 14.6-15 volts and works with all 12v based batteries. -- Can use select GM 4pin Voltage boosting harnesses up to 16.8 volts if required. Contact us for more information on dual voltage battery setups.
