Highly recommended if you are running an aftermarket style fuel system with 2+ fuel pumps, larger heat exchanger fans and/or intercooler pumps.

We highly recommend using all the OEM wiring and simply adding at least a 2-gauge power and ground wire from our alternator to your under-hood battery. If you are using a battery that is remounted in the trunk of the vehicle, 0-gauge connection wiring is highly suggested. In some year models, it may be necessary to enlarge the OEM power wire ring terminal hole to facilitate the larger output stud on our alternator.
