S Series
The S series of 6 phase alternators offers incredible output in a compact and durable package. Highly efficient, these units use less horsepower per Kw produced than conventional 3 phase alternators. 12 diodes, twin rectifier plates and outstanding airflow ensure long service life, even in severe conditions. The 240 amp model offers the best balance between peak output, and output at engine idle RPM.
Installation Notes:
This unit comes equipped with a smaller 1.75 inch diameter alternator pulley, and will require a slightly shorter drive belt to be installed for proper belt tension.

Great Alternator!
This was a great alternator for my 07 Sequoia! One thing to keep in mind, this is a SMALL case and you will lose amps at low RPM (even worse with 320). I chose this one over the larger one for my car audio application. I currently use both :)

Excellent Alternator
I'm very happy with this alternator. It fits just like factory and produces the power I need to run my amps. The pulley is much smaller so you will need a shorter belt. I used a Gates K060878 (cross references to 07-09 Tundra 4.7) and it has the proper tension with no slippage. Voltage before was 13.3v hot idle, now I get 14.0v hot idle. Cruise is 14.3v. Worth every penny.

The MechMan two year warranty applies to Mechman Alternators sold ON or AFTER 07/13/2011. This limited two year warranty allows the customer to return his or her MechMan alternator for repair for a full two years after the alternator purchase date. This warranty does not cover other parts or equipment on the vehicle, and does not cover labor for removal or installation of the alternator. This warranty is VOID if the MechMan alternator is modified, physically abused, misused, improperly installed, or is not used in the application for which it was designed. The MechMan two year warranty is non-transferrable. The customer must include a copy of the original invoice when sending in their alternator in order to receive warranty service. The customer is responsible for shipping the alternator to the Mechman facility for warranty service, Mechman will pay return shipping back to the customer for all alternators under warranty. As an added service, MechMan will also service any MechMan alternator of any age or condition for the cost of parts and return shipping. (We provide the labor to repair the alternator for free!)
