This alternator is developed specifically for customers who are installing a late model Chrysler / Jeep / Dodge Hemi crate engine into a vehicle that never came with that engine. The OEM alternator has to have input from the ECU in order for the alternator to function.
This alternator will work with any aftermarket EFI, and requires only a single ignition switched wire to be connected to the supplied pigtail for proper alternator charging in the mid 14 volt range. Does NOT reuse the factory mopar alternator harness plug.
