*Attention!* This is a B-Stock, Display or Show Product
Mechman B-Stock alternators are factory-refurbished units that may have been lightly used, returned, or reconditioned. They may show minor cosmetic imperfections like scratches or finish blemishes but are fully tested to meet Mechman’s strict performance and reliability standards. These units deliver the same high-output performance as new alternators at a reduced price.

This alternator is equipped with a similar diameter pulley to the OEM diameter pulley allowing the reuse of the stock length serpentine belt (if low miles/good shape/fresh). We do recommend a new OEM belt size if your mileage is over 50k miles on your current belt and tensioner. If using in an OEM/stock replacement, no cable upgrades are needed. If you have added items that warrant the higher amperage needs, we highly recommend adding 2 gauge or larger power and ground wires.
Many Corvettes experience electrical issues in near stock form so please ensure your current wiring is up to spec, secure, tight and routed away from high heat items under the hood. The starter wire and fan connector are known areas of concern and should be checked prior to installation of a higher output alternator. Adding a high output alternator will not solve bad or compromised wiring that is already present in the vehicle.
