- This alternator uses the vehicle's factory computer (ECU/PCM) to control charging voltage, so voltage will continue to follow the factory system behavior.
- This high-output alternator still provides the increased amperage you purchased, delivering stronger performance under load and faster battery recharge.
- Some voltage fluctuation is normal on these systems and does not indicate a problem.
- If fixed or higher voltage is required, please contact our support team for details on a stand-alone alternator configuration with our bypass module to control the battery light.
S Series
The S series of 6 phase alternators offers incredible output in a compact and durable package. Highly efficient, these units use less horsepower than conventional 3 phase alternators. 12 diodes, twin rectifier plates and outstanding airflow ensure long service life, even in severe conditions. The 320 amp model offers the best balance between peak output, and output at engine idle RPM.
NOTE: This alternator comes equipped with a 46mm diameter overdrive pulley that will require the installation a 1/2 inch to 1 inch shorter than stock length belt (not included) for proper belt tension.Notes:
