Mechman B-Stock alternators are factory-refurbished units that may have been lightly used, returned, or reconditioned. They may show minor cosmetic imperfections like scratches or finish blemishes but are fully tested to meet Mechman’s strict performance and reliability standards. These units deliver the same high-output performance as new alternators at a reduced price.

Warranty: B-Stock alternators include a 90-Day Functional Warranty only. Warranty covers performance (not cosmetics or labor), is non-transferable, and all sales are final — no returns or exchanges. An optional extended warranty is available beginning at $49.99.
Restrictions: No Modifications Allowed. No paint, pulley swaps, clocking, harness changes, or regulator upgrades. If customization is required, please purchase a new retail alternator.

This unit comes equipped with a smaller 1.75-inch diameter alternator pulley and will require a slightly shorter drive belt for proper belt tension, that can be purchased from your local Autoparts store. NOTE: As with any high output hairpin unit for this application, minor grinding may be required on the inside radius of the factory alternator bracket for clearance.
