Responsibilities
- Prepare parts for painting, including cleaning, masking, sanding, and priming
- Mix and apply paint using appropriate techniques (spray gun, HVLP, etc.) to ensure smooth, even coatings
- Monitor paint thickness, adhesion, and overall finish quality
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following proper safety protocols
- Perform quality checks to ensure painted parts meet company standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve common paint defects (runs, fisheyes, orange peel, etc.)
- Maintain and clean spray equipment regularly
- Work closely with the production team to meet deadlines
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of automotive or similar paint experience (construction industry experience does not qualify)
- Experience using automotive or industrial paint application methods
- Understanding of proper surface preparation and finishing techniques
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain consistency
- Strong attention to detail and ability to inspect finished work
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Schedule
- Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Includes 30-minute lunch break and two paid 15-minute breaks

Support Manager
Lead and oversee all customer-facing support operations for a growing alternator manufacturer. This role requires strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems and team leadership skills. You’ll manage warranty processes, ticketing systems, and ensure fast, accurate customer responses.

Responsibilities
- Manage and lead the customer support team, including scheduling, training, and performance reviews
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex technical inquiries
- Oversee all warranty claims and RGA processing from intake through resolution
- Administer Freshdesk ticketing system and Smith AI phone integration
- Monitor and achieve support KPIs including response time, resolution time, and satisfaction
- Develop and maintain training documentation and SOPs
- Coordinate with production and engineering on recurring product issues
- Handle inbound and outbound customer calls as needed
Requirements
- Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, charging systems, and diagnostics required
- Aftermarket automotive or car audio industry experience strongly preferred
- Prior management or team lead experience preferred
- Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 preferred (training provided)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with computers and standard business software
- Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping
- Dependable, self-directed, and accountable
