This is the same harness we include in our standard build Toyota Supra 170-amp and 240-amp alternators. When using GM 4 pin regulators you're able to achieve higher voltage for modern AGM style batteries than the standard Toyota oval 3pin regulators are set to.
These adapters work great for GM based alternators with the traditional 4pin plug that have been fabricated or modified to work in a relocated alternator bracket or custom bracket due to turbo piping or chassis setup interference.
