Do you have an S10, Cavalier or another popular model that used the GM 2.2L SOHC engine? If so, this small adapter bracket can turn a small case alternator application into a LARGE CASE alternator application! CNC bent laser cut steel bracket in an OEM matte black finish along with zinc coated hardware / nylock vibration free nut.
The main advantage of a large case alternator is the great idle output. A typical small case alternator in this application will only do around 120 to 140 amps. The large case will easily belt out 180-200 amps at idle and in extreme amperage needs can be more than 400 amps given the P# you choose for your goals. The fitment is tight, but this is the must have for any build well past 3000 watts of amplifier output.
NOTES: The installation of this bracket along with a large case alternator will require the use of a slightly longer serpentine belt (most use Dayco 5060775) and in some applications the removal of a brace or other OEM bracket that will physically interfere with the larger cased alternator. If your vehicle was NOT equipped with A/C, your belt length may vary.

How convenient!
Yea, its just a bent piece of metal and a nut/bolt, but how convenient being able to use a large case alternator on this tiny engine!
Tight fit but it fits! LOL!
