With our alternator by itself, you can expect a huge increase in output at idle, around 150 amps! The maximum output while driving or cruising RPM's can achieve nearly 200 amps for the most demanding of components. Keep in mind, your OEM alternator is still suppling power as well! It's a win/win application especially if your older and tired OEM alternator decides to fail while on the trail!
