P104 Ford 3 Pin Module for use with factory 11> FORD vehicles WITH Mechman alternator

This module is for use on Ford vehicles equipped with a 3 pin (6G) regulator and a RVC sensor (Regulated Voltage Control). Simply plug this module into your vehicle's factory harness and tie out of the way. This will eliminate the check charging system code (battery light). if you are using a GM 4pin style modified alternator.

YOU MUST BE CURRENTLY USING A GM 4 PIN REGULATOR ALTERNATOR OR OTHER STANDALONE STYLE ALTERNATOR TO WORK. THIS IS NOT A SOLUTION FOR NON RVC CONTROLED FORD ALTERNATORS (3G, 4G, etc.). ALL THIS DOES IS KEEP THE BATTERY LIGHT OFF AND KEEP THE RVC FROM BEING ACTIVATED. YOU WILL STILL NEED TO HAVE A WAY TO OPERATE YOUR ALTERNATOR, STOCK OR HIGH OUTPUT!!!!

These are especially popular for the customer who wants to bypass the RVC system so that they can run a stand-alone alternator. (such as the popular GM 4pin 1 wire) The reason for this is that when run in the factory form on these model vehicles there will be fluctuating voltage and normally, they will charge at a lower voltage. Although this is all normal since the PCM is controlling the voltage in order to acquire max fuel economy and durability, some will opt to go with a stand-alone unit to acquire a higher and more stable voltage.

Keep in mind this does not work with the factory alternator. You will need to purchase a special ordered alternator that is built with single ignition switched turn on. Just order the alternator for your application as you normally would and specify in the checkout notes that it needs to be single wire turn on. This same P104 plug is INCLUDED in our new MM-VC4 voltage control box located in the Voltage Control section. If purchasing the MM-VC4 you will NOT need to purchase this P#.
