PLEASE ALLOW 2-3 *BUSINESS DAYS - MON-FRI* FOR A FOLLOW-UP EMAIL REGARDING YOUR RGA #. THIS SERVICE IS ONLY APPLICABLE FOR ALTERNATORS THAT ARE LESS THAN 30 DAYS OLD AND ARE IN "NEW IN BOX" CONDITION. IF THE UNIT IS IN NEW IN-BOX CONDITION WHEN RECEIVED THE UNIT WILL BE REFUNDED MINUS 10% RESTOCKING FEE. IF THE ALTERNATOR UNIT WAS SUBJECTED TO IMPROPER USE, ROUGH HANDLING, OR EXTREME CONDITIONS THAT HAVE RESULTED IN SEVERE DAMAGE THE UNIT WOULD BE CONSIDERED “ABUSED”. SHOULD THE UNIT BE DETERMINED TO BE IN AN ABUSED STATE, THE UNIT WILL BE RETURNED AT A 50% RESTOCKING FEE. EVEN IF A RETURN GOODS AUTHORIZATION # IS PROVIDED, IT MAY BE DETERMINED ONCE YOUR ALTERNATOR IS RECEIVED AT OUR FACILITY, THAT YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR A RETURN; BASED ON CONDITION OR CIRCUMSTANCE. ***

Please be sure to pack the alternator tightly and securely as MechMan is not responsible for damages from shipping. We recommend using
the original packaging and double boxing for sufficient protection.

Automotive Alternators | 2 Year Repair Warranty
The MechMan limited two-year warranty allows the customer to return their MechMan alternator for repair for a full two years after the alternator purchase date. This warranty does not cover other parts or equipment on the vehicle and does not cover labor expenses related to the removal or installation of the alternator. The MechMan warranty is VOID if the alternator is modified, physically abused, misused, improperly installed, or is not used in the application for which it was designed. The MechMan two-year warranty is non-transferrable. The customer must include a copy of the original invoice when sending in their alternator in order to receive warranty service. The customer is responsible for shipping the alternator to the Mechman facility for warranty service, Mechman will pay return shipping in the continental 48 United States only. Customers with shipping addresses outside of that area are responsible for the cost of return shipping.
Marine Alternators | 1 Year Repair Warranty

Bad to good!
Stupid speeder hit my car 10 days after getting my alternator and 2 days before I was going to install it. Figured i'd be stuck with an alternator I can't use or hafta sell it at a loss on Marketplace but thankfully emailed Tony@Mechman.com and he sent me this link.
Dam, talk about giving me a little bit more relief!!!!!! Sent the alternator back, got my money back when they received it. Now I get to go find another car.... uggghhhhh.
